The Histopathology & Cytology Laboratory specializes in the microscopic evaluation of tissues and cellular specimens to diagnose disease, characterize lesions, and support clinical decision-making. Through surgical pathology, biopsy analysis, and cytological examinations such as pap smears and fine-needle aspirations, the department provides detailed morphological assessment to detect inflammatory changes, benign and malignant neoplasms, and pre-cancerous abnormalities. - Tissue Biopsy & Histological Examination
Analyzes tissue samples to detect disease, inflammation, or malignancy.
Tests: Skin Biopsy, Core Biopsy, Surgical Specimens, Frozen Sections, Paraffin-embedded Tissue Analysis - Cytological Analysis & Screening
Examines cells to identify abnormal growth, precancerous changes, or infections.
